Fishing Guide
Fishing is a hands-off way to collect materials and Wet armor pieces. Once you start, the server auto-resolves catches every cycle until you run out of bait or cancel.
What you need
- Fishing Pole: Long and Heavy Fishing Pole (41293) or Short and Light Fishing Pole (41294).
- Bait: Bait (41295) sold by the Fishing Old Man.
Where to get the items
- Fishing Old Man (npc 80080) sells bait on the Fishing place map at 32812, 32786.
- Short and Light Fishing Pole (41294) can be caught while fishing (1% chance).
- Fishing Child (npc 80082) sells rods via dialog options:
L(long rod 41293) orS(short rod 41294) for 1000 adena.
Where to fish
Fish on tiles flagged as fishing zones. The dedicated Fishing place map is the safest spot and already has the Fishing Old Man nearby.
- Teleport to Fishing place: Fishing Child (npc 80082) gives a rod and teleports you there after payment.
- Return to mainland: Fishing Child (npc 80083) dialog option
Oconsumes a rod and sends you back.
How auto fishing stops
- Each catch cycle takes about 10-14 seconds.
- You run out of bait (41295).
- Your inventory is full and the catch is dropped to the ground.
- You cancel fishing manually (click again).
