๐น - Changing this one to testing for now since you guys are going to get together and check out the numbers.
DK weapon, elmore chainsword
After getting a 7 thebe chain to compare to my 7 ph. The problem I'm having is it's close. I'm at 37 str buffed I believe.
My options are hit for slightly higher normal hits with chain and full eye foe for 300+. The chain procs are so bad if they even go off. The licks hit for like 13 each. And I lose 6 ac.
Or hit for slightly lower, foe on cooldown for almost 150. Procs for 60+ a LOT and gain 6 ac and dk morph that I can wand instead of sharna scrolls forever
Anything that lives longer than 1 foe with chain dies faster with the sword it feels like
i wonder what the idea behind INT thebes procs is for melee weaps
Okay. This was about elmore chainsword. I get that the proc dmg is only going to be ~20, which is substantially lower than any, if not all proc weapons. Can we at least make the proc rate go up with each enchant rate (+2 or above)? Doesn't seem fair to apply increased proc rate onward starting at +7 when this weap is only safe to enchant to 0
i think i put it in
lol
hey bloodjinn, what's ur ingame? my dk is 8rain
Let's do some testing when you are available. I will holler
It at least doesn't prompt the same message as for +7 or higher proc weapons
where it says the proc rate goes up
so I assumed same thing (+7 rule) applied to +0 safe enchant weap
+3, 1%
Force melee to add int which is gross lol
Be interested to see the results, ive done a few tests myself and while the ret is solid the chain has so much spike dmg potential the ret cant keep up. I sorta looked at it like claw vs edo on DE.
I will also dm you and gauge your in-game availability
We can test thebes elmore ret ph
Sounds good, I'm usually the night shift guy ๐
โ - After speaking with the team, there have been quite a few adjustments to chainsword to balance after the tests. Thank you all for your efforts and time in doing so. We'll be closing this one out, but feel free to re-open a new one if we want to look at specific enhancements/adjustments to how they currently are.
