On most servers I have played on de sandals have had +1 int. as it is right now there isn't a big difference between lower tier boot options (cerenis boots). Giving them a +1 int should make them stand out and make them actually worthy of a pick up.

adding this note just for a fuller picture: Cap of Dark Elder was introduced, and turned into a set with bonuses

Yeah I saw that. I still don't think breaking other robe and helm options (cap of orim) is worth it for the set though.
we can discuss it i imagine, though dark elder was traditionally ultra trash

yeah i agree. just sad the boots are so rare and expensive and its only a few mpr and mp upgrade over cerenis. dont think +1 int would drastically change much but they would atleast stand out as the best option.

yup that is true...
hmm. would really cement their place as BiS boots. Agree it's super marginal over cerenis as is and the DE set isn't worth using once you have a good robe & helmet anyway. Hair Clip + F-robe is basically better than full DE set. And as you mentioned orim cap and other robes like lich robe / elite robes are way better in those slots. So then it's just the sandals standing alone.
