cant find my previous post to bump it but the 5% exp loss on death and only 1.7-1.8% buyback isnt right please fix by lowering exp loss on death exmaple LOA did 1% exp loss, or fix the buyback at a minimum, exp rates are hardened so should be 1% loss and no buyback is my suggestion
exp loss
๐ต - Marking as patched pending next restart - changes below:
- moving to JP exp penalty on death ruleset (currently it's 5% on death at 49+)
49=5%, 50โ64=4.5%, 65โ69=4%, 70โ74=3.5%, 75โ78=3%, 79=2.5%, 80โ81=2%, 82+=1.5%,
Okay buyback is still suppose to be half back not 1/3rd
fine with me
exp buyback seems to be higher than half but ok np i set it at half
Marking as patched ๐ต and ready for testing ๐น as server has been restarted since patch and this is live.
@Skia - Please let us know when you have a moment. Thank you!
so originally buyback was 1.7-1.8% back of the 5%, then it went to 4% loss and 3% buyback, now its 5% loss and 2.5% back lol, i like the 4% loss and 3% back personally lol, this is a grind server and journey but lets not make deaths(especially DC deaths) be something that makes people log off or not want to engage in pvp or bosses because of
The only reason it went to 2.5% is because you said you only bought back 1.75% or something
it was lol
but then it changed to 4% loss and 3% back
so that was nice
i personally prefer loa style 1% loss especially on a grind server, even no buyback with 1% loss would be fine
I dont want others to be discouraged from pvp/trying boss with being scared of exp loss is all
we dont want no exp loss either tho
i like the pvp argument
and on LOA it took me 3 hours to get 1%, a little different
true but, this is more of a grind than these people are used too lol
- 1โ10: 0%
- 11โ44: 7.5%
- 45โ49: 5%
- 50โ69: 3%
- 70โ79: 2.5%
- 80โ81: 2%
- 82+: 1.5%
merry xmas

Fixed: EXP lost on death now depends on your level and is much lower at higher levels.
