That's fine, but you have to pick different class each time so you can feel how everyone do in a battle

aka you gotta try the squishy classes such as DE elf and mage! XD

prob easier to do in 3v3 , 2 gm just pick a random in chat

if there are not enough GMs, other players can join their team. We should have a bigger group fight because thats usually what happen in real pvp

sometimes we have 10+ vs 10+

or each gm , pick their team , n do 5x5

numbers of participant can be changed each time

but i suggest atleast 5+

You guys can try different builds each time too! Int elf, dex elf, fire wind earth water elf, str DK, DE with claw vs edo, cougar mage int mage, illu, knight, so many different builds that you can try.

My hope is to translate players concerns into something that GM can experience and explore through real fights.

lets do a weekly event where players play something other than what they normally do and we get 1 piece of positive feedback on the game from each player

Proposal:

Each week, PvP pledge submit one concern for GM to review. For instance, GMs receive total of three topics from MIT, THE BEST, & GOONERS:

1. Destroy dmg is too low
2. Cancel rate too low
3. DE edo dmg too high

Then GM team including Mephi, Sam, Pyrowe, Anct (whoever is available) will use mage, elf, and DE to try destroy, cancel, and edo dmg.

Vice versa, reborn citizens will do the same so GM can be the receiving end of destroy, cancel, and DE dmg.

GM will fight the three pledges in three different battles, 5+ vs 5+, 15 mins each.

Everyone use spellchance on, dmg on, dmg inc on to gather data.

After the battle, GMs can discuss with players and review the topics within their team.

Additional test can also be carried out after battle to further confirm dmg, land chance, etc.

Rule: no trashtalk allowed, it is solely for the purpose of testing as well as having fun

I honestly do like this idea, and I do agree with a lot of things Yamm speculates and states in other threads / topics. I just have one issue with this particular topic.. but I will preface it by saying I do think it's still a pretty good idea. My issue with this idea is that I would guess GMs are not super experienced with all classes, you know? At least not all the way to end game knowledge. So one GM might be an experienced end game elf, another might be a mage, another a knight. And maybe they kinda know DE and have played it to some extent, and same with illusionist, royal or DK. But because of that, they might play the knight, elf, and mage well... but be horrible (vs end game players) while playing DE / illusionist / royal / DK and end up making decisions to change the game without actually truly understanding how to end game play certain characters.

I don't have a solution though... I also think overall it's still a pretty good idea for them to see how end game fights turn out from each classes' perspective

By the way, these are all just examples lol. I don't really know what their end game classes are haha

This goes the same way now anyway. Like you said, GM is not an expert in everything, yet changes have been made based on players’ review and their own internal review.

I think having GM experiencing it will help them better understand the mechanic and how things turn out in real end game battle. As you mentioned, a different perspective when they actually play the character.

I think its a great idea, I know personally I've played most classes...While I do have my personal favorites, I'm sure the same could be said for most of us. It will be a good opportunity to learn in all aspects!

Definitely, I'm actually still in support of your idea. Like I said before, I still think overall good idea!
