Shops selling wrong item if you buy multiple lines

Alternatively I think I know what happened. I've had this happen before where if you try to buy 2 items from 1 shop it buys the wrong line and I got the kiri off the shop instead of the chainsword

this also happened to me when i tried to buy out a shop full of power gloves

i got random other shit the shop had for sale but i didnt care because it was small items

 Findings:

  - I do not see evidence of a Thebes Chainsword changing into a Kiri.
  - I do see a real logged purchase of a real Thebes Kiri:
      - 2026-04-02 22:18:41 UTC (6:18:41 PM ET)
      - buyer: Slurp
      - seller: Discount
      - item: Kiringku of Thebes Osiris
      - object id: 988926173
  - In that exact same transaction, Slurp also bought a real Thebes Chainsword:
      - object id: 990113361
  - Slurp then bought another real Thebes Chainsword a few minutes later:
      - 2026-04-02 22:31:57 UTC (6:31:57 PM ET)
      - object id: 990113375

  So yesterday’s logs show:

  - 1 Thebes Kiri bought
  - 2 Thebes Chainswords bought

  That means the server recorded separate item transfers, not a Chainsword mutating into a Kiri.

  One more relevant detail:

  - Slurp’s current offline shop state is also advertising a Kiri:
      - shop chat contains 9 Thebe kiri
      - current sell list contains a Thebes Kiri item object

  So the clean conclusion is:

  - this does not look like an item-id conversion bug
  - it looks like Slurp did in fact acquire a Kiri through shop activity

  What definitely did happen:

  - Slurp bought a real Thebes Kiri and real Thebes Chainswords. I do not see any evidence of a Chainsword turning into
    a Kiri.
  - logprivateshopbuy and item_audit both show:
      - 988926173 = Kiringku of Thebes Osiris
      - 990113361 = Chain Sword of Thebes Osiris
      - 990113375 = Chain Sword of Thebes Osiris
      - 989225300 = older Chain Sword of Thebes Osiris

  What happened next:

  - all 4 Thebes Chainswords were deposited into warehouse:
      - 988449993 at 2026-04-02 18:18:54 DB time
      - 989225300 at 2026-04-02 18:18:54
      - 990113361 at 2026-04-02 18:18:54
      - 990113375 at 2026-04-02 18:33:05
  - the bought Kiri was also deposited into warehouse:
      - 988926173 at 2026-04-02 18:36:04

  What exists now:

  - Slurp’s current offline shop is selling a different item:
      - 315457411 = +9 Kiringku of Thebes Osiris
  - the bought Kiri from yesterday:
      - 988926173
      - is in character_warehouse
  - the 4 Chainsword object ids are not in:
      - character_items
      - character_warehouse
      - character_elf_warehouse
      - pet_inventory

  So the clean conclusion is:

  - this was not a Chainsword-to-Kiri conversion bug
  - the real issue is:
      - Slurp’s Chainswords were successfully bought
      - then successfully deposited to warehouse
      - and are now gone from all normal storage locations

ya i should have deleted the item changing part

what i believe is actually happening is....

i tried to buy 2 thebes chains off of 1 shop

so i THINK it bought the top one, then rearranged the list and the kiri moved up a slot and it bought the kiri as the second item

i made a picture

so i try to buy staff of str and staff of mana

it buys staff of str first then shift everything up and buys the belt instead

this also happened to me when a shop had like 6 power gloves and something else

i tried to buy all 6 power gloves at once

but it actually purchased 4 and 2 of the other random things the shop was selling, then i had to go back and buy the last 2

Anyways. Now I have a 0 kiri I don't want and I don't even know how much I paid for it. And all the chainswords are gone because they all blew up at 7

ill buy the kiri

whenever you have time. i dont even know how much i paid for it exactly. probably 3-4 mill
