Swing speed elf

Are you looking at RunSpeed or AttackSpeed for this one?

Wasn’t clear from Mephi’s post if the expectation is run speed should also match. Would be cool if it did.

Just tested it on an elf and RunSpeed also increases with wafer, so should be good there. Was the AttackSpeed not changing when you ran -stats before going from haste only versus haste + wafer?

I didn’t check run speed but haste/wafer is slowly run speed than haste/brave for sure. It’s noticeable.

I just tested haste/wafer on the elf and haste/brave on the knight.

Both attack and run speed are significantly slower with wafer rather than brave.

He probably meant that the speed increase for wafer is the same as a brave. Elves run and swing way slower than knight. So if wafer is an equivalent speedup to brave, elf would still swing slower in comparison. I think this might be where the difference is.

I'm all for fire elf swinging at knight speed though! That would be great.

Tested this morning. 52 DK
Morph on both characters. Elf hasted and wafered knight hasted and braved.

Elf:
417ms run speed
391ms swing speed

Knight:
355ms run speed
333ms swing speed

I’ll love you forever if you fix it … the only thing I don’t like about fire elves is the run and swing speed lol

Maybe ill try to make bravery pots for for fire instead

But its all weird with elves and fire buff, they seem to override brave icon

Or add speed to a common fire spell?

The game shares the icon id somehow because i guess normally elves dont have brave icon

There is currently nothing fire elves would do different— just use a wafer and somehow the logic checks for their elemental choice and uses brave logic?

Ill keep trying, not sure why it stopped working

But in general one of the fire buffs shares bravery icon slot, which makes it harder

Elf - Cancelled
RunSpeed: 640ms
AttackSpeed: 840ms

Knight - Cancelled
RunSpeed: 640ms
AttackSpeed: 880ms

Elf - Hasted/Wafer
RunSpeed: 417ms
AttackSpeed: 547ms

Knight - Hasted/Brave
RunSpeed: 355ms
AttackSpeed: 488ms

In poly with a paag my hated braved knight and hasted wafered elf are the same speed currently. I have not tried unpolied

Ok, so tried in 52 deathknight morph, and here are the stats:

Elf - hasted/wafered/52 DK morph:
RunSpeed: 417ms
AttackSpeed: 391ms

Knight - hasted/braved/52 DK morph:
RunSpeed: 355ms
AttackSpeed: 333ms

Tried then in 60 deathknight morph:

Elf - hasted/wafered/60 DK morph:
RunSpeed: 417ms
AttackSpeed: 356ms (Slightly faster than 52)

Knight - hasted/braved/60 DK morph:
RunSpeed: 355ms
AttackSpeed: 303ms (Slightly faster than 52)

Knight is slightly faster, but doesn't feel like that big of a difference. If we're good with where it is, we can leave it here?
