Player damage taken from soul link causes pet to prio the damage dealin mop, is this intended behaviour? I could be alone on this, but I think the pet should stick to the players target, no?
Soul link pet talent breaks current target prio
sort of contradicts taunt if the pet is just going to ignoe your attack target
Hmm ill check ty
the whole pet prioritys is weird , you atk 1 mob .. all fine ... but if i tag multiples , pet will end up atking the last tagged... why cant pet priority goes by witch mobs / order i attacked them ?
🇩 - Marking as under-development while team is working on this.
i think thats how summons work too
are you sure this is soul link related
its always been a kinda weird to me
ya i dont think its soullink related , but effect it alot .
Not sure I came across completely accurate. The issue I'm trying to explain is that the shared damage with soul link will pull the pet off its current target.
For example: 1 boss, one trash mob.
I engage boss with the full intention of ignoring the trash mop.
Pet engages boss.
Trash mop hits ME, 15% of the damage is transfered to Pet (soul link). Pet disengages boss to attack trash mop due to the incoming soul link damage.
This is the targeting behavior I'm curious about:
Pets breaking thier current target priority due to transfered soul link damage it receives from the player
gotcha thankyou for that
patched
and live
🇹 - Awesome ty Meph! Moving to testing. When you have a moment let us know how the changes are working @MUNCHEESE / @pechthefarmer.
Will do! Thanks a lot guys
✅ - Pretty sure we figured this one out with some patches + the new -pettarget command, but feel free to re-open if there's anything else on this one!
Fixed: Soul Link damage no longer pulls your pet off its target. Use -pettarget to set its focus.
Marking this one as closed, feel free to re-open if its still an issue.
