Good morning. The Illu's Smash Skill isn't working properly. It keeps hitting in melee range when it should be able to be used at long range. Also, the visual effect is the same as the attack itself, and it needs to be spammable; otherwise, it's useless.
Furthermore, when you use it, a message appears saying you've used the Confusion Skill.

i am 95% sure smash is a melee magical atk.
i dont ever remember it being a spam atk. Its cd should be longer than its stun.
so like, .5 sec cd for a .1-.3 sec stun. its more less an interrupt to set up for a shock stun
Not bone break, smash. Smash uses supposed to bring extra dps its not really usable here lol
We did have this working at ranged awhile back I thought? Tested that and doesn't seem to be working atm. Also see the Confusion thing. Is it supposed to increase your DPS/dmg over time also @SlimShady?
Never seen it increase. But its not supposed to have a cast animation.
It normally has that... how to describe, wind/air puff looking drop above the targets head when smash is cast. No character animation, just the visual in addition to your normal swing.
I've never equipped on my bar during my time here, because the damage is too low and the change to make it range doesn't match with how the skill was in older clients. The range increase was a newer client update.

Sounds like the consensus is that it shouldn't have a character animation then. Moving over to development to resolve these two issues:
- Remove the character animation
- When turning on -dmg, it says Confusion currently when cast
patched something lets see
Looks good to me from an initial test! Let us know gents on how it looks from your end.
Fixed: Smash no longer plays a separate character animation or shows as Confusion in damage messages.
