Title says it all. As far as I can tell destroy spell is unable to Crit. I've sat there and done 100 in a row with very little variation in damage.
Also the nice new purple tinted destroy can maybe be Crit only?

In our current source, magic crit only applies to player-cast attack magic when the spell’s skill_level <= 6.

I asked because in general dwarves dont make reliable targets for many things, but shocking revelation there
Only in 8.1 or 8.8 does destroy crit , at 10%
Not sure about the spell itself but mage has 8% Crit as a bonus starting start if they roll max INT which should apply to all damaging spells regardless.
I can also confirm that my Meteor strike does Crit

This was one was implemented and it's definitely noticeable now with Destroy. Let us know how your testing goes with it also @Babo Age.

Fixed: Destroy can now land critical hits, with its own critical visual.
