Inventory/Hotkey Issues

Adding @Tykrie and @F3roz in here to report any remaining issues their having. Here are notes from Tykrie on 7/26 - inventory items keep disappearing from hotkeys frequently.

I have noticed today a sort when I log in adjusts my missing item hotkeys, so far all good but will keep an eye on it.

the last time I tried -sort it made all of my hotkeys reset when i logged back in, i'll try it again later.

This was a few weeks ago though.

When you try to log out while still in combat your hotkeys reset as well

just happened to me

Also just tried sort and restarted later on and some of my hotkeys disappeared & inventory is scattered when logged back in

Hey @CHIPZ, just merging your hotkey issue into this report here. Are you still having issues with it, I believe Meph made some adjustments after you reported.

another bug with keys please: if i try to restart while it says cannot due to being in combat (normal zone) then restart when i can
it resets all hot keys to defaults (like a new char)

logging back in after you actually manage to restart has 0 hotkeys too then ?

inventory is still entirely fucked in exactly the same way as it has been everytime ive logged in since i made this report 🙁

can you please just stop equipped items from prioritizing to the top of my inventory? i dont understand why it would do that, i set my inventory up the way i want it and then it sorts it all in a completely different way. my item switches dont work if they arent beside eachother

Wanted to note that i am still having this issue on every restart / relog

well yes with my -sort all equipment is at the top but the rest of my inventory is always scrambled

yea, it happening to me on my mage only. On my knight its all ok. And as i said, is not only my inventory, its all...inventory, spellbar, favorite morph...

Try -hotkeys

And then quit client and come back

There's a character.loc file in lineage folder too delete that

yea, still using sort on log in on my end.

I have to -sort every login and also have to manually do my 2nd and 3rd set of hotkeys

really annoying and so fragile sorry

i can save hotkeys now on a character i couldnt save hotkeys on before

and use restart after to be safe for now

Hot keys are fine for me except any items from my inventory hotkeyed. Once I hit -sort everything that returns to its original location in my inventory will repopulate my hotkeys.
Inventory is always scrambled though.

It's everything too not just a few items. Current process everytime I log in: type -sort, unequip everything, -sort again, re-equip everything, poly because vamp cloak..

Also have to keep my website inventory layout up to date otherwise I'm moving items at the end of this process as well
