do ypu play elf ? If not you should try. My elf has so good DR that i need run away from 2 fire egg starting from FV HM 2 and on HM3 can fire golem 1 shot my elf.

two sources i shared before that lean towards DE and DK eventually having /3 ac
these aren't official articles or anything but player written articles discussing the game from 2010-2011
the first link/screenshot is from a comments section of an article where a writer is discussing lineage defense and other aspects of the game. originally they list dark elf as having ac /4 before ultimately getting corrected in the comments section by two different commentors about de's true ac being /3. he corrects himself and edits the article accordingly to reflect this info.
second link and second/third screenshots also discuss armor value and the formula behind calculating damage taken in relation to ac. the only dispute that occurs here is whether prince is ac /5 or ac /3 but DE and DK at ac /3 is undisputed by any commentor and backed by a secondary article/blog post on the same site.
obviously this topic is hard to definitively prove with the age of this game and so much information lost but take it fwiw.
i know the response to this was that other code bases have de/dk at ac /4 but again, this could be due to developers simply never deep diving this issue and trusting whoever initially set de/dk at ac /4 as a "confirmed" value and rolling with it along the years because there was no need to second guess these choices due to either lack of info or blind trust.

Working as intended: how armor class reduces damage for each class is a deliberate balance setting, not a bug. Class balance feedback is welcome in the suggestions channel.
