The buff shows 64 seconds on the tooltip, but lasts more like 3-4 minutes.

The duration increase is a QOL improvement, but the only way to know if you still have the buff is to have -dmg on. And in pvp you can't know
Fair. I have same issue on royal buffs
Moving to development as I believe we might be able to adjust this now.
Fixed: Soul of Flame icon and tooltip now show 130 seconds, matching the real duration (update your client).
