Thank you for the suggestion and for thinking through how these fit with existing Royal spell progression.
We discussed this internally and, at least for now, we want to keep these spells as boss-exclusive drops rather than adding a crafting path.
The reason is these are custom spells and are intended to sit in a much higher rarity and prestige tier than traditional class spell acquisition. While we understand that many Royal spells historically had crafting methods, these particular spells are being treated more similarly to aspirational endgame items, closer in philosophy to obtaining a Knight’s Counter Barrier or a Mage’s Destroy rather than a standard class spell.
Because of their power and impact, we want acquisition to remain tied to harder content and boss progression rather than guaranteed material accumulation over time.
That said, we do understand the concern around accessibility on Classic and will continue monitoring boss participation, class requirements, and overall availability. If data shows acquisition is becoming too restrictive, we can revisit alternate acquisition methods in the future without removing the prestige of obtaining them.
