Current status: high chance of pets passing levels of owner, making them unusable (to my understanding). CHA elves most heavily effected but anyone can have the same issue.
Suggested options:
- pet lvl cap to disallow pets leveling beyond the level of the owner
- pet system to allow pets to lvl normally but only be as strong as they would be at the owners level (ex: pet lvl 75, owner lvl 65, the pet only has stats of a lvl 65 pet)
- re-evo (or monster rancher style breeding) system to allow a (significantly) higher stat version of the same pet but back to level 1
Side information: on a personal note, I would also accept 2 bats. That would solve this issue for a few months from MY perspective 😆
