Here are some recommended changes for forbidden weapons that are NOT proc based, keep the overall “feel” of the weapons, and put them slightly below similar “mid to end-ish game” weapons
Recommended change for +2 Forbidden Great Sword:
Increase the weapon from 35/45, +3 hit, +2 dmg to 42/51, +3 hit, +4 dmg.
This keeps the Forbidden Great Sword as a simple, non-proc two-handed weapon while making it useful relative to the +7 Two-Handed Sword of Knight Vald. Over 1000 swings, it would deal 48,000 damage vs small and 57,000 damage vs large, placing it at approximately 95.9% of Vald vs small and 98.2% of Vald vs large.

Recommended change for +2 Forbidden Sword:
Increase the weapon from 35/25, +5 hit, +3 dmg to 44/33, +5 hit, +4 dmg.
This keeps the Forbidden Sword as a simple, non-proc one-handed weapon while making it useful relative to the +7 Knight Vald 1H Sword. Over 1000 swings, it would deal 47,000 damage vs small and 36,000 damage vs large, placing it at approximately 108.8% of Vald vs small and 83.3% of Vald vs large.
Note: this makes the sword noticeably stronger for fire elves.
Combined average: 96.1% of the +7 Knight Vald 1H Sword.

Recommended change for +2 Forbidden Bowgun:
Increase the weapon from 4/4, +8 hit, +7 dmg, 10% chance to add 10 dmg to 5/5, +8 hit, +14 dmg, 10% chance to add 10 dmg.
This keeps the Forbidden Bowgun capped at 5/5 base damage and preserves its simple flat 10-damage proc while making it useful relative to the +7 Cold Bow. Over 1000 swings, it would deal 22,000 damage vs small and 22,000 damage vs large, placing it at approximately 93.0% of Cold Bow vs small and 93.0% of Cold Bow vs large.
