On live for PvP this was a thing. Is this something that can be explored? I believe it worked the same as erase cancel but the caster was able to select the desired polymorph on the target.
Make polymorph spell work as offensive
While something like this would be cool sounding on paper, is it necessary to buff mages more ? Cause this sounds like it would be a buff to mages pvp capability. Mages just got increased chances on their curse spells on top of their already decent magic damage due to the amount of sp that is achievable on this server.
@Bringer it looks like it requires a team effort on this.
Or just do what it was on live, where you can use polywand on other people; if they're not wearing ropc, they can get polyd.
I remember those days on quite a few servers but I don’t remember you being able to chose the persons poly I remember hoping it changed them into something that takes all the gear away so fellow pvpers could drop destroys or stuns for a quick kill. It also made it so if you had lower side mr you had to wear ropc to keep from this happening. The good old days

The poly was random. Never chosen.
Partly there: the Wand of Polymorph already works on other players with a random form, and Ring of Polymorph Control protects. The Polymorph spell is unchanged.
