Is there a way to make the Leaf burn faster while still giving the same total amount of XP overall?
Before, a 100% Leaf gave 10% XP. The purpose of that system was to help people who can’t play all day stay somewhat competitive. At level 72, it took around 4 hours to burn through a full Leaf, so if you only had 2–3 hours to play, it was hard to keep up with the people online all day.
Making the Leaf burn faster is definitely a step in the right direction. However, if it also gives less XP overall, it’s going to have the opposite effect. The players who can grind all day will pull even farther ahead because the Leaf won’t be nearly as valuable.
The whole reason the Leaf system was implemented was to help people catch up when they couldn’t play for a couple of days. Burning it faster while keeping the same total XP reward would accomplish that goal much better.
