Dragon Armors

someone raised the point that they have ele resistance, and thats their main purpose however

End game weapons are adjust to be a lil better than others due to the time it takes to make etc.
Not even super worried about the small loss in stats but some build choices would be nice.
Like Int and Dex choices for Elfs

If ele resist was the main point then we defiantly need other scaling elemental based weapon options as well. Right now it is earth res only in PVP.

dragon armors are MUCH more irritating/difficult to get then forbidden, so maybe if you say ele res is the point, drop the ele res a little, add some MR/AC?? (just to match forbidden) or give the option for stats to be chosen?

I do agree... with the addition of the Forbidden Armors (and now Void Plate), Elite Dragon Platemails are looking possibly worse than Void Platemails

If I would be an INT elf, I would wear Valakas elite robe. If the main issue is just that INT elves have no option, adding both +1 INT DEX solve the issue.

Its not so simple. INT and DEX gives double damage scaling for elves if you use thebes bow

Yea, dont need both stats on all armors but some leather with dex and some with int would be great. Honestly +1 dex is not doing much at all for my dmg when I am a full int build. Since most of the gains come at higher dex levels I will never hit.

Elfs cant wear vala elite robe, nor should they be able too. The amount of int and SP on it is nuts. lol

The balance of vala robe seems a little crazy compare to other robes. Why vala +2int and +3sp and all other robes only +1 int and no SP. what da fuq? 🤣
Seems like +2int +2sp on others would make more sense but Ill let a mage talk about those tho, dont have any experience with em.

I was raising the case... Compare +2int +3sp with +1 DEX... Really, adding +1 INT +1 DEX on other armours (let INT knights enjoy them too) doesnt come any closer to +2int +3sp... not even a scratch closer.
Still, someone complaining about that +1 INT +1 DEX would double scaling XD
Make 1 leather armor give also +2 int +3sp... that would be fair 🙂 Isnt it? And another one +2 DEX +2 bow damage
All this said... Any improvement would be nice.
And where I put leather armor. put whatever and switch to +2 STR +2 melee damage or whatever or +X luck extra.

your missing that vala robe doenst have mp regen while the others do- thats the trade-off

it matters if you hunt pve with it- can increase your downtime

Overall just want to see more variable stats on the armor. Right now Elf armors all essentially the same w/ flat +dex. Cant comment much on Mage armors, but I know no one is willingly trading MP regen for +3sp and +1int.

So others having +1int +2sp would seem legit but not mage, so i differ to others

again your missing the bonus of the other armors, which not only include mp regen, but DR / hp heal / mp heal

not to mention elemental resist, if you want to craft anth for a pvp spec

Another point i brought up. PVP should not just be earth armor or bust. Silly balance wise to favor one element and others being useless. But thats more on other weapon elemental scaling being available end game to give variety.

the heal is 50hp, again nothing to write home about. It helps but nothing worth losing +3sp on +1 int on a mage for.

Would love to see an actual choice to be made over, Vala or bust for most cases. :shrug:

And thats for mages, elfs are still all flat +1 dex on armors.

dex gives to thebes bow physical hit damage and int scales with proc. dex scaling will affect int builds exactly same as DEX builds because +5DEX buff
put to many dex,int itmes in game and you make all other bows useless.
if they arnt already.

i dont want DEX scaling buff to get reverted because of thebes bow double scaling

i was wrong . INT thebes build benefits more from extra DEX as its below 35 DEX and dosnt need 4 DEX for extra DEX table damage point.

Dex = more hit chances for your procs to go off and physical damage depending on what breakpoint your at, int is just more proc damage and utility spell increase

Plenty of other +dex gear items for elf if thats what you are after. Very limited +int gear options on elf.
crystal guarder, a few diff weps,belt and hairclip. Thankfully we have rabbit +int ring. Thebe ring as well but so rare its silly.

No glove/Armor/Boot +int gear options, those all have +dex if you are looking for that though.

If a mage wants to roll str and smack things why not.

Its not like a int elf would ever be a mage or a str mage would ever be a knight. Due to other limitations to classes and spells etc. I am all for letting people play the game how they would like.

Either way this discussion is about dragon armors. Please try to keep it in that area at least. You may start another thread about your Str Mage issues.
